The Texas NAHRO 32nd Annual Conference & Tradeshow held May 12 - 15, 2008 in Fort Worth, Texas was a huge success.  Thanks to all who participated.  We have already begun the planning for next years conference to be held in Galveston.  Additional information will be posted as it becomes available.  

 The Section 8 HCV Program Portability Contact Information for the State of Texas is now available in the "Resource Materials" Section.  If you don't see your agency please email your agency information to shelli@brazosnet.com to be added.

Attorney General Opinion states that Housing Authorities personnel records
and pay records are not subject to the Open Records Act if the employees are
payed from the Central Office Cost Center.

To review the Open Records Decision received by the Taylor Housing Authority from the Texas Attorney General's Office click here.  PHA's should seek legal council before complying with requests for information to determine legal obligations. 

2008 IRS Mileage rate is .585 cents per mile effective 7/1/08.

The 2008 Income Limits have been published and can be accessed at www.huduser.org/datasets/il/il08/index.html.  The new limits were effective as of 2/13/08.
